I have just learned that there is a community careline at United for lonely and in need people. 9-5, five days a week. There must be professional back up as there will be some serious problems presented. Im sure there is via the council and NHS. Id like to count the threats of suicide per week, 99 per cent being attention seeking.

And the 1 per cent....the club could find itself in a coroners court.

Put that alongside mental health assesments, dementia care, cooked and delivered meals, and god knows what else. I probably sound like a kill joy.

There has been an explosion of community care projects encompassing all the maladies of life, NHS, private and charitable. Cambridge United are jumping on a band wagon.

The legal problem revolves around the name. If a punter from Cambridge or any other town pays an admission fee to watch football, he or she is highly likely to be not aware that a sizeable portion of the money paid goes on social services.

And are not given a choice in regards to that. I will not watch United while my admission fee goes on this, i pay enough from my private donations, and i dont want to pay more. The government pays huge amounts of money to fund a socialist care state.

When i pay to watch United, if it ever happens again, i want it to be spent on footballing expenses.

The club needs to include this, it needs to change its name to Cambridge United football Club and Community Trust, so any body walking in knows where their money goes, and not be hoodwinked.

The League two table should reflect this, so its CUFCCT, and be quoted on tv when nescessary, as the clubs function has changed, it is not solely about football.

It would be interesting to test this in court, i hope someone does.

I want my club back.
