Come on, OC, it really doesn't matter whether you consider sinkov and BT or anyone else posting on here as deluded, none of us are running this or any other country and it really doesn't matter what we think or say because we do not have the same access to the media that those running the show have.

Just watching 'experts' doing their piece on TV and they can't say whether or not the vaccine is effective in stopping people spreading the virus ---are they also deluded? In effect, one of the 'experts' has just more or less said that they really do not know whether or not the vaccine is effective and that for months ahead people will still have to follow the social distancing rules etc.
Meanwhile, Celtic went off to Dubai recently and just ignore the 'expert' advice.

They are telling us that 1 in 50 is probably affected and you should minimise contact etc., however, you can still go to the supermarket where there is absolutely no check whatsover on who you may come into contact with.

You can use common sense, however, lots of the population need to be told what to do almost all of the time and with police arresting 2 ladies for walking round reservoirs etc., it is no wonder that so many are deluded.

Scientific belief should be based on a properly informed hypothesis which is then rigorously tested against the evidence of the events. Boris is in my opinion a simple man and his constant claim to “follow the science” needs some further scrutiny.

If he had followed the science in March and masked up, washed his hands kept his distance and not shaken the hand of every passer-by he met in April, it is highly unlikely he would have found himself fighting for his life in a London hospital’s ICU.

If we concur that to “follow the evidence” is the true basis of a scientific approach to discovering the truth, the current rising numbers of people contracting the corona virus suggests this ruinous half and half lockdown paradigm is not working.

The obvious conclusion provides us with only two possible options: a full, total, blanket lockdown for weeks on end or go with the herd immunity paradigm, while simultaneously vaccinating as much of the herd as possible. It’s option two for me and let’s go and try and inject some quality back into all of our lives.

Anyone over the age of 68 will be chucked in a general ward and quietly left to pass.
