Willie Gibson's strike off the decade

What a belter. Commentators just finished saying his legs are no good. What a piece of class.

Queens were excellent tonight with Shields again immense and Gibson's 4th - ever goal for the Doonhamers an absolute peach

Totally agree. You had to smile, as you say, the commentators had just finished totally writing him off and then he comes up with that screamer and so accurate that no keeper would have saved it.
The recent whole team performances since Dundee have been full of confidence, highlighted by the form of Shields. Dare I say the squad are beginning to live without Dobbie?

Gibsons first ever Queens goal was an absolute belter, ten times better than tonights, against Montrose in the Scottish cup again, incidentally!

Lets hope he can do it again soon. Teams need players to score regularly from defence/midfield to take the pressure off the forwards. Gibson certainly did that tonight and changed the game. Its good to have a smile on our faces in this Covid world tonight, but ICT next is going to be a hard game to keep this performance rolling.

Think Willie should take all the free kicks. This one is not unlike griffis crackers against England.
