It's a wierd one. Been quite mild today but supposed to hit - 4'c through the night and -3'c tomorrow for kick off.

Mrs Stoke was a massive Bowie fan. Dragged me to the Manchester Arena to see him but it turned out to be the only tour ever that he never played any of his hits. 40 minutes in she turns to me and says this is sh1te let's go to the pub. Result Pub 1-0 Bowie

    Never argue we Mrs Stoke,
if Bowie gave her the dry boak,
I'm sure your night was sorted on the jukebox,
when she picked Culture Club,Spandau Ballet and Ultravox.

Rarely two the same forecasts but think the minus will be from the “feels like” temperature due to wind from the north so wouldnt effect the pitch as much just the players and anyone involved.

That's exactly what it is, even though there is very little wind over the next two days. Ironically the wind would help keep the frost at bay, albeit making the air temperature colder. None of this will matter if the groundsman gets the heating on in time however.
