I thought we played ok on Sat and would have won 3-1 on any other day had we been at 100%.
I don't think its a priority and we are best off out of it.
The FA Cup this season is a pointless tournament only relevant for clubs like Chorley. Nobody gets home or away advantage and with no crowds in, it loss all of its drama and prestige. We won't win it, so best off concentrating on the final 23 league games.
If we got in 2 centre halves then I'd fancy our chances of a good fight of it.
    What excuses have we left?
    Travis and Dack are back.
Most forst team players are back fit now, give or take one or two.
A small fortune (at this level) has been spent.
We have the best facilities in the whole league training & Brockhall wise.
By all accounts we are very much in for Kipre and at least one other Centre half. Maybe a midfielder.
It will be unlikley we lose Armstrong, as nobody will £30m for him in this window in this economic climate.

A win vrs Stoke is far more importnat, and I do think we will get it. Hopefully we get a few defenders in before Sat and we start to address that appalling defence we have.

You where right to have grave doubts about Pears Robin. Dodgy is what I would describe him at best. Another complete waste of a signing ....another from his old mates up at Boro, like Ayala. Its criminal really, but our club is a joke.
