A bit harsh, I mean who would be want to own a football club? Its a poisoned chalice and a way to make a small fortune, from the large one you started with!

I don't see how you can say he is beyond criticism, there's been plenty of that. Before we cheer too loudly, perhaps lets see what the new owners bring? I expect if we are not promoted next season, the familiar whines and moans will kick in.

Ultimately Morris didn't succeed in his aim, some of that was his misjudgement, some of it was bad advice and some of it was circumstances conspiring against him.

    Ides of March, GP?

Feels like the bank manager waiting for the arrival of my grant cheque in 1973. Someone wasn’t being totally honest then too.

What a balls up. Players still not been paid, money not forthcoming, Rams funds very low, on verge of administration if not resolved!

The Clubs CEO (Pearce) in tonight's interview has indicated that the Club remain confident the takeover will go ahead very soon and that the 'new owners' are involved with the running of the club at the present time. He also says that in the short term some academy players may be sold. He never answered the question 'if he had seen evidence of funds from the prospective new owners!
