So we’ve gone from...’the money is on it’s way, be here within the week’ to Rooney being quoted in today’s DT as suggesting we need a ‘Plan B’ for transfers if the takeover isn’t completed before the window closes.

    Something stinks!

It's an obvious thing though isn't it? Bin Sayed knows we haven't got a pot to p155 in. Great bargaining chip to force the price down.

..... or am I being too cynical?

Except if he pushes too hard then the goose that lays the golden egg may be irrevocably harmed.... Fine lines

One thing is for certain, if the alleged takeover ever happens the levels of trust and respect for Bin 'whoever they are' will start off at less than zero imo. In addition, a quick troll of the Rams sites, shows that Mel's legacy is now permanently tarnished which is a shame though it's arguably his own fault!
The academy will be his most lasting legacy but otherwise his stock has fell a huge amount! A few forays at achieving promo will be long forgotten if we are languishing in the nether regions without a pot to piss in!

It's a bloody joke. Morris has always been keen to open his gob in the past. He should have the guts to say something now!!
