Bad day at the office all round, but looking at the rest of the season, and yes the Jan window may change things, core positions seriously lacking depth / backup & reliable replacements.
GK - Meslier doing ok, but only 20
CB, maybe have the quality, but already issues over fitness / injuries / robustness.
CM / DM, nothing apart from Phillips
Striker, again only really Bamford.

Credit to Crawley, difficult match, but did any of the U23 lads, show that extra bit , to show they can could push for a 1st team spot. Very much bits & pieces.

Hard to judge the u23 when we were set up so badly in the second half.

Think striker and midfield are the key areas to strengthen.

We had nothing at all up front to play off second half and looked impotent.
