Suspension of football below Championship level in Scotland

Just been intimated that football in Scotland below Championship level has been suspended for three weeks due to the rise in Covid cases.

Less hugging after scoring goals and touching altogether would be a sensible measure - unless we want to see a total close down of football once again.

I also want to ask why spitting has not been outlawed?

Seemed inevitable considering the number currently being infected across the country and would suspect the upper tier will follow suit shortly. You cannot mess around with this pandemic and we need to get it back under some degree of control or await until the majority of the public have been vaccinated.

Can’t see us back at Palmerston this season unfortunately and there’s a possibility this campaign might not finish either. The latest government figures are really scary.

Imagine the fall - out if football this season was scrapped especially in the top league with Rangers poised to stop the 'Tic's 10 in a row obsession.
