    Harry Pickering

The move is very close to happening apparently.
A highly rated left back and let's be honest he has to be better than the players we have in that position.
A decent centre back or 2,wouldn't go a miss.

Sadly, due to Mowbray's **** up in the summer we are now unable to sign this lad. we are unable to go above £750k and Crewe have turned it down. Deal is now off.
We missed the deadline (last Sat) to send Douglas back to Leeds. Therefore we are unable to afford this highly rated young player because we have brought in Douglas on big wages and are now stuck with him. An appalling player.

Looks like we are missing out on all our main targets. Which figures. That's why in summer we ended up with all that rubbish.
WBA want us to pay 100% of Kipre's wages, and he is on alot. That deal is now dead in the water.

Yes unfortunately I am struggling to disagree with any of the above.
He is hardly covering himself in glory especially as we are struggling to find any sort of form.
If we haven't the money then that's fine but if we had a opportunity to send a very average player back in Douglas to save wages but failed to meet the deadline then I am afraid he has dropped a massive clanger.
Let's get George friend in,as you love a boro old boy.

Bit by bit he is undoing all his good work in re-stabilising the club off the pitch.
We are no better on it after 3 years. I think some players are going backwards (Nyamabe, Bell, Lenihan) and I am unsure some of our squad are actually good enough for the Champ (Douglas, Ayala, Holtby, Pears etc) what he is doing is saddling us with expensive rubbish with no sell on fee and old boys from his old club coming here for a pay day.
No wonder we are a such a soft touch on the pitch.

Well done all at the club.
Great deal and makes perfect sense sending him back to give him game time ready for next season.

Very highly rated and we have ensured we got a decent sell on clause inserted as they think he could well move onto the bigger things. Young and worth the gamble after the Bell situation never really happened for one reason or another.
He will now leave in the summer, but with Douglas now looking good, and Bell as cover, it made sense to let him carry on playing for Crewe this season. Well done all round on this one.
