Bruce getting the sack within a month?

I see these questions are being asked all around SoMe platforms (I know...) - do you think he will be here next month?

I get that he's Ashley guy, a real pre-historic yes-man, but if he continues to lose he's hurting Ashley's asset.

I don't rate Bruce one little bit but I'm sure the problem is more Ashley than Bruce.

How many decent competent managers are there out there who would work for Ashley. Very, very few if any now.

Giving as an example Rafa being the only decent manager we have had in recent years was promised this that and the other to get this club on its feet. He was promised the earth and told he could run the club his own way and how long did that last. A few months, if that, before Ashley goes back on his word and lies through his teeth.

I think he might, Hughie. Ashley has been burnt twice by not acting quickly enough so I think this time might be different. We absolutely must still be a Premier League club by the end of this season for any potential takeover to happen and I firmly believe Bruce will take us down.

To me, it didn't look like the players were playing for him last night and once you get to that stage it's very hard to come back from it. Divisions start appearing between the players, mysterious 'injuries' start afflicting players, stories about players wanting out start emerging. The only thing missing is the poisonous atmosphere in the ground and fans having a go at each other in the stands.

Ashley can't risk another relegation this time round so I think he might act earlier this time even though Bruce is his ideal manager in normal circumstances.

    I hope you're right Zip.

Like I said on another thread, I only support him to keep us up so a takeover is more likely (if that's even true). But it's true that another manager could do that job better, I just personally don't think MA is willing to pay for a significantly better manager.

    Well said Zip.

They didn't look like they we're playing for vhim, they did't even look like they were playing for each other, worryingly enough.
