It seems their fans are generally quite respectful of Notts and are also impressed with the signing of Effiong as they were after him but apparently he didn’t want to leave London so maybe we did well getting him here?
Stockport's twitter was updated 2 hours ago 'It's match day'. Sounds positive, maybe trying to get people to sign up for the stream, but can't see it would make much difference as they would have to refund anyway.

Bit of mind games - he has no idea what team we will play and already a ready made excuse if we beat them.

Set expectations low for less disappointment.

I know we are closer to London than Stockport but we aren't exactly 2 tube stops further north than Barnet.

ps. Weather is looking better up there.

Certainly not the strongest team. Slocombe, O'Brien, Doyle, Wootton, Rawlinson, Kelly-Evans all on the bench.

I've waited to see what the teams were before predicting the score but it's tricky this one because we've not played for what seems like ages and there is the odd new face in the squad and a few fridge players. It's a good opportunity for those that have not featured much to give the manager something to think about and for those who have been playing regularly to get some match sharpness.

Nice to see them come in out of the cold.

I think that was misunderstood. In the interview before the game he said we will want to have our freshest team for Tuesday.
