West Brom - As you say not good enough, and big Sam only knows how to park the bus, Sheffield Utd remind me of us the season we went down, couldn't buy a result, absolutely no luck whatsoever, and then a lack of confidence sets in.

Think 35 points will definitely see us safe this year,
He doesn't have the skill to do it against proper defenders. He was the same at Newcastle.

Because ours actually aren't as good as people want/make them out to be.

I remember people telling me Poleon was going to be brilliant and watching and thinking.........league one at best. Where is he now? Think the same with every youngster I've seen so far bar maybe Gelhardt as he was showing promise at Wigan, yet hes one of the few that doesn't get a sniff.

I think until they get 1st team time we will never truly know with those that are showing promise. Take Struijk - dreadful debut and shaky first few games in EFL and then started to blossom. Looks a very capable CB now.

No one else is getting a chance. Look at Shackleton - never going to be world class but could be very good prem player but stalling for lack of game time and when has played recently its at RB.

Others have played first team for the clubs we bought them from but had no minutes for us - Drameh, Summerville and JG.

No point building up a decent set of kids if no way for them to progress.

Some undoubtedly won’t cut it but others may well do but at the moment we will never know.

Nah, its far more sensible to throw in 10/11 random kids into random positions and see how they get on.

Not sure what point you're making there Billy? A swipe at the Crawley debacle maybe? Or is that (the 10/11 random kids etc.....) what you think I'd suggest we should see?

If the former, very much agree. If the latter, no I'm not, prefer to see one or two, in positions they are familiar with and excel at, (and keep them there if they do well (even if they are used as subs)).

Tonight's games did us no harm (3 points is always good!)

Looking at the fixtures between here and Sunday, can't see anything the really hurts us (even if we don't get anything against Leicester)
