    Bother WITH The Rother

So, Rotherham on saturday, and somehow it doesn't seem so rosy a picture to me as it did leading up to the cancelled away game with them just a few weeks ago. We've lost three out of four, had a covid outbreak, not bought anyone, not ot a new owner and apparently not the players

Are the team going to give us a boost with a famous victory or will be even further in the mire come 5pm sat?

    Opinions please

All tested negative on Monday and, apparently, trained yesterday. Not an optimal build up and the Millers have been looking better of late. Will the financial situation affect our players? One would hope not but you never know.

    My forecast is 1-2.

1-0 loss. Too much uncertainty having over the club will unsettle players. Only hope that Rotherham are similarly unsettled by general events.

The two ‘promises’ made were that the players would be paid their outstanding wages by the 15th...that’s tomorrow and that the takeover would be completed this week...that too is pretty much tomorrow.

If those two things happen we’ll be okay...if they don’t I suspect we’ll be playing Rotherham again next season...along with the likes of Oxford and Fleetwood.

1-1 if it’s sorted. 0-3 if it isn’t. I’m so glad 2020 has been and gone because ‘21 has been so much better.

Sloppy, no runners, no outlet, sideways passes, can't head to a team mate, on throw ins why do we always choose the player surrounded by 2 or 3 opponents invariably always to lose possession, I'd rather we pass it back and keep possession

So, around 4:40 Mrs F is on the phome to a friend. commenting how, of all our friendship group, only I appear to have not developed a low mood. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, I'm deciding whether to plug myself into the National Grid by the gonads. My God that was **** today, from minute 1 to the bitter end.
