    Intensity seems to be waning

After last weeks farce, was expecting 90 mins of high energy, pressure, in yer face play, but for 70 mins today, it was slow, too much side to side passing, zero threat from outwide, and similar in attack. Klich again very average, Alioski, shows just why a LB is *****, Rodrigo / Bamford unable to hold up the ball, but to be fair, get little in quality balls in from the wings.
Squad needs the 3 players, we can all see - LB, CM, Striker.
Snow / ice / rain = soft boggy pitch, so lets give it another soaking at half time - baffling.

Bielsa told them to water the pitch to stop Brighton playing football.
He could see he was getting out done by Potter and then used cheating Argie tactics , nothing knew in that I suppose.

They are fked during training and unable to perform on matchday.
No matter how many days off they have between matches, they will still be fked at training.

Fitness training, that is. Not defensive training.

Like others, after the shameful display against Crawley, I expected a team of Premiership professionals to come out of the blocks at 1000mph to show that they weren't quite the rip-off merchants they were being painted as.

Seems the characterisation was true after all. No passion, no energy, no desire, no talent. Nothing was shown today that gives us, the ones who ultimately pay their wages, any confidence whatsoever that they are taking THEIR responsibilities seriously.

I suppose we should be thankful that other results haven't damaged our position, but how many times is that going to be the case?

Sorry Billy, but we have seen that they CAN perform, (even when losing against Scum, they were scampering up the pitch and competing!). If all that was the dying embers if whatever energy they had, then yes we are f00ked, but I believe it's worse, it's that for whatever reason the squad has lost its desire and passion, and is accepting of losing.

I was amazed at how sluggish and off the boil the whole team seemed to be today. Especially as this was definitely one of the winnable matches in the PL for us.

In our own ways, we are all pointing out our observation that the team failed to do the basics today. Very unusual for us.

Philips being out is a huge loss for us, yet that can't be used as an excuse for this performance imo.

As has been said elsewhere, If Forshaw is going to take a while to get back, we need to bring in some cover for Kalvins role.
