Bromley Postponed due to today's trophy win...

Following our progression to the fifth round of the Buildbase FA Trophy, our Vanarama National League home match against Bromley will be rearranged.

We were due to host the south London outfit on Saturday 6 February but, following today’s victory over Stockport, we’ll be in Trophy action on that day.

Draw details and a new date for the Bromley match will be shared in due course.

If we take that Saturday out then there are 18 more up to then end of May when the last league match is planned. If the other two rounds before the final are on Saturdays, and we got through, there would be 16 Saturdays and 30 league games left. That would leave just 4 mid-weeks free and every Saturday taken up. So, more than 4 games postponed and we would have three games in a week. That is assuming of course that the games could all be arranged to fit the Saturday / Tues or Weds dates with all the other teams.

I really cannot see that the season can be completed by 31st May.

Thats correct MM no chance it is done by end of May.

There is going to be more called off due to Covid.

It is either done by PPG most likely or by extending to July but does the NL have the common sense to do that.

No reason why the season can't be extended and the new season start a few weeks later. For me that would be preferrable to another curtailed season and PPG.
