    Yes that time of year again for the obligatory link with Carvalho

    He must be in his 50s by now

    He would have been a cracking signing six years ago, but like Ivanovich he is past his best now.
    Don't understand why we signed Ivanovich when Bartley is keeping him on the bench.
    Has to be said though that Bartley looks far more comfortable in a back four than in a back three and trying to play it out.

    The words “comfortable/Bartley” are not usually used in the same sentence.
