Excellent half but no better than many in our winless run including Ibrox a month ago...a decent second half finally would be appreciated!

The other team had better players than us - you can tell by the league positions - but, while 'Gers fans will see it as a poor performance by their guys, we organised ourselves very well; we had them guessing, not by kicking anything that moved, but by the relentless application of a positional game plan. Some of the boys must be utterly shattered.
Credit to the manager; he had clearly sussed out the likely Rangers approach and set us up accordingly. We looked like a team again.

It's a results driven time so credit all round...had Defoe's shot been half a yard right or left though I'd have struggled to identify much difference between today and last month at Ibrox though.

Two points from two games is fine though, staying in touch - an not bottom on PPG - is the goal until the end f the window.

A vastly improved performance with GA tactically more aware than Robbo with same players.
Pleased recalled MacIver as IMO a valuable asset to 1st team squad.
Lawless will fit in nicely but a cull of squad required starting with Lamie, McGinley, Seedorf and Chapman all confined to the stand.
We must improve ball retention and confident results will improve and start climb table

In the second half what was the difference between today and Ibrox other than we got away with it? I genuinely didn't see anything significantly different other than them missing their chances this time.

A deserved point and overall an encouraging performance. The first half we were spot on, held our shape and discipline well and well worth our lead.

The second half was brutal and so typical of many a Motherwell side. When are we ever going to learn that trying to hold on to a single goal lead whilst dropping deeper and deeper just doesn't work, especially against the stronger sides? Their goal was offside and shouldn't have stood, but ultimately if you camp on your own 18 yard line for 45 minutes then you are always likely to concede and so it proved.

Overall it's a much improved result from alot of the spineless guff we saw from Robinson towards the end of his time in this fixture and there are signs of encouragement....but there's still a long, long way to go and alot of issues to be sorted.

Not a bad first half and it was encouraging to score the opener. However the second half was all one way traffic as we sat in. Why? We invited crosses into our box and the midfield looked short on confidence and vigour. A suggestion that ranger's equaliser was a tad offside, but these things go against you when you're struggling.

No doubt the new manager is keen to see what individual players can do but Seedorf didn't shine and I can't see what MacIver offered.
Two draws on the trot now and hopefully the ship has been steadied.
