Millers v Potters Tues 7:45 KO

A rat ran away with Harry Sellars' false teeth

Star 1920s and 30s midfielder Harry Sellars once woke up in a Middlesbrough hotel and switched on the light in time to see a rat dart across the room with his dentures in its mouth.

What's more, Stoke returned to the same hotel two years later and Sellars was presented with the nashers.

We’re at home so I’m going for a win

Defender Chester was sent off against Blackburn on Saturday so will be missing this game, probably won’t make any difference

A change of tactics required for this game as Stoke are pack hunters, they go forward as a pack and defend as a pack so for me we have to play the counter attack game with a change to 4132 and hit them on the break 352 will not cut it this time IMHO that is.

James McLean is currently suspended by Stoke for breaching covid rules.
Doesn't say for how long though so he may play, he might not

McLean has been fined a weeks wages and apologised unreservedly, he's back in training and will more than likely play.
Nick Powell is suffering from an ankle injury from colliding with advertising boards at Blackburn.
Another tough game, ( they're all tough ) Stoke don't tend to concede too many goals.
We're capable of coming away with something from this game.

So do we change to accommodate their style of play or do we make them change to accommodate our style of play, or both?

If he’s apologised like they all do then that’s alright I suppose

Yes they’ll score so 2-1 Millers depending on ref
