They were far better than us and deserved the win, but the manner of it leaves a foul taste again, by my reckoning VAR/ref incompetence has cost us 8 points this season already, my hope id the team will be as furious as their manager and take it out on the jawdees on saturday, onwards and upwards. Oh, and Linaker can do one as well, if you are going to quote a rule quote ALL of it not just the bit you think justifies a bull**** decision.

No matter the madness of the rule, if it exists we should know about it - Rodri clearly did. Bit embarrassing really. I’d keep quiet and learn from it and try to use it to our advantage in future games.

Absolutely agree, I will be very surprised if we or other teams dont try it now its been highlighted, I will be even more surprised if they/we are allowed to get way with it, it will be flagged offside or be called for "not in the spirit of the game", unless of course one of the "sky 6" gain from it, its going to be interesting isnt it? I can just about remember when "goal hanging" was allowed, most sunday league games the lone striker and the goalie would spend most of the match in conversation whilst waiting for the ball to get lumped forwards for them both to chase, thats entertainment!

Its a mess and when you see players given offside not by the ref or linesperson but by Var after 5 mins study claiming the forwards finger was offside makes it all a joke. Normally you see the striker in the case of Ridri clearly 20 yards offside walk away from the ball in play so as not to be flagged, he didnt and should have been offside. People say Mings controlled the ball but clearly he had not. Personally, I think all this talk about the pony is a smokescreen, none of this would have happened had Mings just cleared the ball, it was a terrible decision to try and bring it down a dribble the ball. Safery first, look around, smell danger, hoof! Simples

After watching the Newcastle game, I think Mings may have realised that, one or two he would have played were sent to row z, he still has an unforced error in him but he and Konsa seem to be getting there as a pairing dont you think?

Yes, i thought that. If you watch God, he would not mess about, row Z and get organised. Konsa got cought once and did not try it again!
The game is about learning and quick, seems the message has got through ✌
