Couple of supposed leeds targets, tomori and mateta, tomori on the verge of signing for Milan, and mateta just signed for Palace, so much for that then, often wonder what our scouting system consists of, and what orta does with his time, please don't bring in any more youngsters for the under 23's and the future, we've seen how crap they all are first hand.

Unless there is a clear identified target available then suspect it’s better to wait until the summer. Number of players coming back from injury - Llorente - fit, Berardi - due back next month, Koch - back in fitness training. That should avoid the need to panic buy.

Wonder if they might try Llorente at DM when Koch back to see if he can cover for KP.

Roberts looked decent last game so maybe he is fit and in form so gets more time.

Think the midfield and wide players needs careful review by the coaching team to see what combinations allow us to play attacking football with urgency and energy whilst getting back when needed when we lose the ball.

I really like Rodrigo but not sure where he is being played helps the team when we are being attacked as he is not really a midfielder.

We need players who can control the game from midfield - KP when on form can QB passes but need someone to pick the locks on tighter defences higher up the pitch - me now Pablo is fit wonder if he will play more.

Against counter attacking teams we can run all day but without a little guile there may be days where it is tricky.

Having Ayling back at RB will help going forward. Dallas should bring more solidity to LB too much as I like Alioskis attitude.

If we are not covering injury gaps and have a more settled back 4 then there should be more opportunity to play the younger players.

If they want to spend money then the one player who looked very good the other night was Ben White maybe they should go back for him as he can cover DM but then we have too many CB when everyone is fit - most likely that would see some go in the summer - Berra and Cooper being prime candidates.

Agree with the sentiment regarding not buying for buyings sake.

However, players coming back from injury or suspension MUST be played in their optimal position, and all others too. The last game was almost incomprehensible in seeing so many players playing away from their best performing place on the pitch. Not only does it create uncertainty in the players mind, it destroys the structural integrity of the team, when everyone is looking around to see where they should be, rather than knowing where they are (your comment on Rodrigo is one example, as was the strange decision to swap Harrison and Raphina). Can't understand why Bielsa chose to go down the route of self-inflicted damage.

White is a ship that has sailed, no matter how good he is, and even if he was to leave, it wouldn't be to Leeds, it would be one of the top 6 - 8 in the league (not there yet!).

We need to get back the energy we showed (even when losing against Scum), and press as we have in the past. We will lose some, and win some, and frankly that's all that's necessary (provided we lose "well" not like the other day!), given the performances of Blades, Baggies and Fulham (and (to date) Burnley and Brighton). Another 15 points and clear water between us and the bottom three, whoever they are, and the season is safe, and what else would we have wanted from the first season back?

We agree on most things HO, feel i have to take you to task on the following statement though,

"Roberts looked decent last game and in form"

    in form?

Hehe - I know it’s a stretch but he looked on form and also watched a lot of the u23 and he has been very good for them.

Maybe it was relative given the other rubbish on show - who knows.

Wish Roberts or Rodrigo would be given a chance up top to see if it makes a difference and Bamf gets a break or two.
