    What’s happened to Dickie Birds teeth ???

    Smiling mug shot ont front page of this weeks Chronicle.
    He seems to only have a few teeth left.
    Money he’s earn’t thad think he’d know a good dentist.

    Well yes - but point is he didn’t look like that last time I saw a photo of him.
    I’m not expecting him to have a smile like Red Rum but summerts happened.
    Unless of course it’s just a bad photo of him.

    Fooak al be saying, "As rare as Dickie Bird's teeth" instead of "hen's teeth".

    A spoke to him at Headingley. Lovely bloke. No wonder he wo whistling as he wo speyking.

    This is not a dig at Dickie.
    It’s only a light hearted observation of the photo on the front cover of the Chronicle.
    IMO - Dickie Bird is and always has been an incredible ambassador for both the club and town of Barnsley.
