Home/away could have made a difference but it’s not the main point. If I’d awarded points as you suggest then those who got the score or result wrong could have argued that they would chosen a different outcome if they’d known that I was awarding points based on Sutton v Altrincham. Your argument is flawed Frank. My choices were either to void the whole thing, in which case nobody would have benefited, or to wait until the game is actually played and award oints then. I chose the latter which I think actually WAS pragmatic.
