Thread: Scott Banks

    Scott Banks

Crystal Palace happy to send Scott Banks out on loan perhaps to Dunfermline.
This is exactly the kind of young, creative midfielder United have been desperately needing all season long.
Why can’t Tony Asghar secure a deal?

He may well get pelters at the nature of his leaving a la Scott Allan. Their attitude may appear to be bad, but in Allan's case good footballer; not sure about Banks but Crystal palace saw enough to take a punt and if it doesn't work out then so be it. He will have made a bit of cash for himself and keeps the bread on the table for a little longer.

Because he left us on sour terms? Because he isnt good enough to play in the Premiership? Because he doesnt want to come back to United?

Any of the above I reckon.

He is the main man for their u23s it would seem so I think they want to send him to Scotland so he is close to his family and can be in the most comfortable environment to thrive on loan.

Do you mean Tony Asghar decided to freeze him out?

Why should we play a boy who's made it clear he doesn't want to play for the club? Plenty others are committed to Dundee Utd Football Club, so quite rightly we made the decision for him. If he was any good he'd be going to a better team than Dunfermline ffs.

Id like to see Mochrie given a shot with Fuchs back and hopefully Chalmers fit and appere getting a run. Also Freeman could maybe fit in if we drop one of the undroppable or replace neilson for a bit. Declan glass can create too so could be some competition next season if he recovers. Im very dissapointed with luke bolton tbh he will never make it at this level let alone man city.

I enjoyed watching Chalmers raid the right hand side from deep. I know he wants to be a striker but he is the best we have on that side.
