Stoke are a strange beast! Going up throught he leagues to get into the Premiership and then eventually falling out of it and struggling to survive int Champioship.
The managers they've gone though is a bit daft as some of them have been decent managers and some have been out of their depth. When you try on the right pair of shoes and you get comfortable in them why the hell do you think that changing them will make you more comfortable? All that Stoke City have managed to do is give themselves blister after blister. Know your level and am to keep there because chacisng that pot of gold is a dangerous game. Sheffield Wednesday, Derby County and Notts Forest are all suffering after failing to get there.
Stoke have probably turned that corner now and need to stabilise. It's the same as us but we are 2 clubs with very different ambitions! Ours is to stay where we are and theirs is to get back up to the Prem.
Can we ever dream of the Prem? Could you see us being a yo-yo club from the Prem. Personally I don't think so and at this point we should be looking at breaking the yo-yo from between the Championship and League 1. It's very possible but we have to win these games! Or at least enough games against mid table teams to enable us to break the pattern.
There really is no better time to start than tonight! It's about we had another good night like we had against The Owls!
This could be terrific night to be a Miller and we'll be there in spirit if not in person!
We can win this! It won't be easy but a continuation of the last two preformances please and we'll be fine!
