    Johnstone

Just doesn’t fill me with any confidence

Look at the 2nd goal tonight a cross along the 6 yard line and where Johnstone planted firmly on his line

At the weekend Button was collecting these happily and has a more commanding presence about him than Johnstone does

Get Button back in goal ASAP

I think that's a bit harsh on Johnstone. I've been his biggest critic in the past but he has gained us points this season. Having said this, Button does appear to be more confident when dealing with crosses and his distribution is better.

Just look at how many goals we concede from crosses and how many shots from distance that go in

Johnstone is a great shot stopper but woeful at kicking out and can’t even keep a drop kick on the pitch plus his positioning is awful. Improved this year but still no Ben Foster by a mile!

I know that Sam is here to keep us in the Greed League but we should be looking to bring on/recruit/persist with whichever goalkeeper is going to be with us next season in the Championship, because realistically that is where we will be. The same strategy applies, of course, to all the outfield positions too. It’s the hope that kills you, though, winning at Molineux just raised our hopes; tonight, I fear, will be seen as a game that brought us back to Earth.
