If you're referring to me Stenson you'll see I asked WHEN the LU pitch was last relaid and offered the idea it probably wasn't 2 years ago, then I don't understand where you're coming from.

Well it couldn't have been last year due to covid restrictions so is probably as old as ours, was ours relaid the year before last? None of clubs pitches got relaid last year so their all at least 2 years old so why is ours so bad and others not, Rooney blaming the weather doesn't work, we've all had bad weather

Football clubs didn't relay last summer.

What we don't know is whether Loughborough Uni relaid theirs.

There are rumours on Anti Social Media that we may have furloughed some of the groundsmen and that is the cause.

You lot moan about your playing pitch. Check out YT highlights of Man City v West Ham 1970. You'd never stand up in that never mind run!

Seriously though...is the dreadful state of our pitch an advantage or a disadvantage? Generally, one would imagine, the better pitches should favour the better footballing sides. Watford’s looked immaculate on Friday night and yet, despite the points return, we probably performed better on it than we have elsewhere in recent matches.

Anyone notice the pitch looked a whole lot better for the Huddersfield game, ground staff must have come back off furlough

Strill looked grim though although not yet 73/74 standards

Seemed a lot better, but it looked as if it had probably had hundreds of tons of sand spread over it to me. Wondered if we might see players in flip flops.

It's flip flop weather at the mo!
BC would have the water on it 24/7, no way near enough mud!
