    OT - Crap journalism

Where do they get their "info" and just how much thought do they put into their Jackanories?

Just read an article on HITC site. Apparently Cardiff's Manager has said that £11M rated Josh Murphy won't be going to any of the clubs reported to be interested in him. The article names the Red Dogs, Wendy and the Rams.

    WHAT??!!

The facts are that, at the moment, we are unable to pay the player's wages. How does "journalist" think we can pay £11M for a player when we can't pay wages?

My flabber should be absolutely ghasted but it isn't. Absolute garbage from "journos" doesn't get me batting an eyelid anymore. Can they sink any lower?

    The DT trumps that, MA.
Yesterday they heralded Liam Rosenior’s thoughts on the take over.
‘Read Here’ it suggested...so I did and all the poor guy had basically to say was...I don’t know anything and it isn’t really my job to comment.
Fair enough from him, but as you say...’crap journalism’ indeed.

we cant even afford to pay the players we have got, let alone anyone else's

if Cardiff want him off the payroll, all they need do is hire a private plane and pilot......

Tabloid/daily news journalism is pretty poor all round, everyone rehashing everyone else's stories, and most sport stories don't even have the luxury of the opportunity to 'spin' for the benefit of one side or another. Proper journalism, sticking to sport, is David Walsh's pirsuit of the truth about Lance Armstrong

I'd agree, much "media" in whatever form these days is pure "clickbait" there are still some good sports jounalists around if one knows where to look for them.

Since Reach took over the DET, the standard has gone down, its the last place one will find up to date and accurate news about the rams!
