NL Clubs meeting this afternoon

With no relegation, the North and South may as well be cancelled.

There's still Macclesfield's place to be filled and ss I say, they could have a play off competition involving the bottom 3 *if* they want or can play on for another month. It's all speculation though. We'll have to wait and see, but if clubs really cannot continue due to finances then 'opt outs' is our only hope of continuing, which is what our owners want.

If they had two promoted, one from each league then their chances have been halved. If they only replaced Macclesfield then it's quartered!

Can't see them going for just one place - two maybe but how would those 3 at the bottom take it? I suppose in one way it will benefit them as they have a chance of staying up.

Just listened to the back end of the latest Magpie Circle chat which went out live. FWIW, the two journalists including Leigh Curtis think the NL will be suspended soon and didn't seem to think it would resume after that. Mace, the host, thought the Dorking "opt out" suggestion would be the best solution.

Maybe we could opt in to a league of 7, with champions and a playoff winner getting promoted?
