That Cresswell goal, I saw Tony Hately head the ball out of the Fulham goalkeeper's hand's back in the Third Division in about 1971/2 (?). I can't remember the goalie's name but he had blond hair and was quite well known.

Hateley never played for Notts against Fulham though, so it must have been another Notts player or a different keeper.

What an horendous night, apart from the result. It was freezing cold and the rain was coming straight at us in the stand. But Carlisle is one of my favourite grounds to go..
