Does make you wonder doesn’t it Pugwash? It makes me wonder whether any other politicians have been sacked from their previous cabinet job for runnin’ back channels to a foreign government and then lyin’ about it or been found to have bullied their staff in their current cabinet job and got away with it?

The so called non biased neutral ex speaker John Bercow springs to mind regarding bullying.

It will be interesting to see whether Mrs. Patel will be offered a place in the Lords. John Bercow wasn't.

Pretty sure that any other Home Secretary found guilty of bullying (although of course she didn't realise it, despite being warned several times) would not have kept her job.
