    Jordon Ibe

Suffering with depression. He's put a statement on Instagram. Says he's in a 'dark place' and has the support of the club. Not a condition I can relate to but if DCFC are helping him through it, well thats a plus IMO and I wish him well

Hope he gets the help he needs, especially as football is such a short career.

All the best to the lad and Kudos to the club for stepping up. This will almost certainly be tied to the "disciplinary" measure. If so, every chance there wll be no repercussions for Jordon.

I don't think any club would discipline a player for being in a dark place.

Depending on what that "dark place" was, surely? What if part of that dark place included something illegal? I'm not saying it did but it might and is something we ought to at least acknowledge in our musings, isn't it?

Rumours are out there. Which are true? Which aren't?

Am I the only one who has no idea what the above two posts are referring to?

Whilst I sympathise with the player, do we not check these matters before signing a player, Ibe's not played competitively for a while and it doesn't look he will be doing much this season. In effect a waste of wages which could have been spent on a player that actually contributes?
