    O/t FIFA Announcement

See they’ve said there’s not a problem with any players or clubs starting their own competitions or cross border leagues, but anyone doing so would be barred from playing in any FIFA related tournaments like World Cup or Champions League competitions. Looks like we’re stuck with the bigot bothers for the long term.

I'm not so sure mate,FIFA are trying to threaten the top clubs in europe and that will never include the Old Firm.Another problem FIFA may come across in the future is they need all the world's top players to play on their greatest stage the World Cup.
If for example a top player is offered a million pounds a week to play in a european super league he will take it as will many others. This would leave FIFA in turmoil because up to a hundred players will not be on their greatest stage.
Mind you this would give countries like ours a chance of going beyond the group stages but FIFA maybe around a billion down on TV revenue because Brazil and Argentina are playing with their second string.
