Thread: McNeil's valuation soars...

    Question McNeil's valuation soars...

After ripping the highly overrated Scousers right back a new arsehole last night at Anfield, how much do you reckon he is worth now?

£35 million might just do it I reckon?

Don’t reckon that’s enough BT if I’m honest I s moving at such pace transfer values , it would be interesting if we could strengthen the squad with some more creative- intelligent footballers around him by that I mean his value would shoot up again.

Decklan Rice I really admire and Chelsea offered 85 million last season and were told it’s not enough by wet spam , by that you start to think 50 million at least.

Problem is we will always be perceived as small fry who need the brass and that negates his value straight away.

IF our new owners actually have a pot to pi$$ in army88, we might not be regarded as "small fry" for very much longer.

No idea what his value might be, but it was good to see him back on song. Just a shame about Taylor going off, when those two are on the left we have a real threat down that side.

I said on the match thread that Arnold was not as good as a lot of folk say.

He fits the modern mould for full backs, alto, can't defend but gets forward and puts crosses in. The new breed has taken over but I still prefer the John Angus, Alec Elder, Keith Newton methods, there again that was in an era when you could tackle and give and take --unlike modern football where a slight touch means that you need assistance to get back on your feet!

Nowhere near the player he was 12 months ago. At the moment he's a liability.

I've always had my doubts about wing backs, too often they're not where they're needed. Wing half backs make more sense.
