FA Cup (Cheltenham v City specifically)

Shame there isnyt VAR at lower leagues. Dont know what the linesman was looking at, but sure as hell not the game. City's first and second would have been chalked off if they had been in a PL game (and who knows how Cheltenham would have played had they been disallowed!)

Wish we had taken it a bit more serious.
A lot of teams are, including some worse off in the league than us.
Maybe thinking it will springboard their league form tho.
Nevertheless, they are giving it a go.
Hope our decision to opt out pays off.

Not sure we did fully opt out Billy. Understand we weren't at full strength...but I reckon they were confident we still had enough artillery to do the job.

I know it’s history, water under the bridge, and all that stuff.
But we opted not to be at full strength.

Actually thought we could have gone a long way in the cup, and kept momentum going, but suppose I’m talkin shyte again.

Misinterpreted that you thought we weren't attempting to win the game. But agree that they didn't place higher importance with below strength side. Mind you...after seeing us against Brighton, there is still doubt on how our top side would have fared!
    Onwards we go...
