    Musa

West Brom are considering signing former Leicester forward Ahmed Musa on a short-term contract. The 28-year-old Nigeria international is without a club after leaving Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr. (Mail on Sunday)
That’s about the extent of our ambition, cheap and someone nobody else wants, laughable

It was reported by the Daily Mail over the weekend that the Baggies have requested a UK visa, and have also pencilled in his medical for Wednesday.

Oh dear, another ‘player’ that can’t even cut it in some faraway backwater is heading our way. Why oh why can we not go for some English players from the lower leagues? Surely there’s some that are worth a go and would be better prospects for when the inevitable happens, back in the Championship.

He will be unfit and unable to play for weeks! He is not what we need but as has been noted, he is cheap and available so we are interested. If he couldn't cut it in the Saudi league how can he ever be any good in the Premiership!

What a shambles we are if this is true. As has been said, we don't need players that nobody else wants but players who are better than those that we've already got. We keep being connected with Choudhury from Leicester. Absolutely no chance! He's a proper player and won't consider coming to us. I can't comprehend how low we have sunk. Those in charge of this club are a disgrace.

Spot on, we have the makings of a decent Championship side, Johnstone has to go to release funds, but O Shea, Ajayi, Townsend, Furlong, Peirea, Diangana are all there and the bulk of our side, added to that Snodgrass will add guile and experience, even Grant may come good, all we need is to get rid of Phillips, Livermore, Sawyers, Gibbs, The Welsh International and Zohore, and more importantly Allardyce then get a good up and coming young coach with fresh ideas and we will be ok

Interestingly, it appears that this player, who was supposedly training with us this week, has not been seen. Obviously, full of commitment!
