    COVID Passports

Whether people like it or not - Covid passports will happen to be allowed in certain countries without tests and certain places where entry is still down to the owner.

Some destinations -- including the Seychelles, Cyprus and Romania -- have already lifted quarantine requirements to visitors able to prove they're vaccinated. Others, such as Iceland and Hungary, have opened up to people who've recovered from Covid-19.

Whilst those who choose not to get vaccinated it’s their personal right but they can’t expect the same privileges of those who do get vaccinated. People want to be safe!

Although our Government have denied covid passports will happen it hasn't stopped them giving grants to several companies to create and trial apps on phones that link to vaccination records which will show that person as been vaccinated. I think something like this will happen for those who wish to travel abroad in the near future.

Once they find it works it will then be broadened to include most places in the UK. Just wondering what happens for those who dont have a smart phone? Or how many will suddenly decide not have a mobile if this is rolled out? Can they be discriminated against? Maybe some law/reg will ensure they will be

    Great idea.

    I think they can get around the Human Rights b o l l o c k s in this way.

1: A Covid passport gets you into whatever country you want to travel to.

2: You’re not banned from any country BUT if you wish to travel to said country you have to take a negative Covid test before travelling and then isolate for 7 days upon arrival in a specialist Covid secure “hotel”.

Let’s see how many people then change their time about a vaccination.

I’m not sure I see the point about having a covid passport. Some countries in the world require you to be vaccinated for yellow fever or you’re not allowed there. To prove you’ve been vaccinated, you have to have this card to say you’ve had it. Why can’t the same be done for covid vaccines.

Also, this passport requirement could end up being a short term thing if say by certain point in the future the entire western world and other countries are all vaccinated? meaning you don’t need to show the passport. Obviously certain number of people won’t want to get vaccinated but not enough to cause alarm.

Proof of vaccination is not proof you are not infected. Will still need a test before travel i'd have thought.
