Can anyone explain why the referee didn't blow the whistle once the linesman's flag had gone up for the second goal? It was my understanding that the flag should not be raised immediately to let play continue for a few moments to see what materialises. In every game I've seen this season, once the flag is eventually raised then the referee blows up.

Indeed , that killed the game off for us. Not that im making excuses for that performance because im not.

Agreed, yet again we didn’t get the rub of the green nor did we when we could have had a pen early doors for a handball. We were however, shocking but it does seem we are the victims of some very strange decisions!

We should of played to the whistle, but when the flag went up you automatically loose concentration.
Tonight's game they made us look bad, because they were on a different level.
Should have started with 3 CHs.
Our all time record with City was level till they come into the money in 08.
They have used the money well, but lets face how can anyone compete.

Well, we can all witness the proceedings on Saturday as our match (if that is an accurate description) against Fulham is on TV; a joy upcoming for all masochistic Baggies.

Cheltenham Town gave City more of a game the other day than we did.
Bham mail ranked most of the players 2 or 3 out of 10 tonight , cant ever remeber such low scores given, but true.
Sawyers sank to an all time low tonight.

Why not just instruct assistant referee's not to flag for offsides, it just causes confusion, let VAR decide if they're going to use it at all!!
