    Ownership?

I realise that I'm covering old ground but what the hell is going on regarding the ownership of our club. According to reports, Lai only owns 2% of the shares! This is a ridiculous situation when we don't actually know who our owners are. Why aren't the Premier League making enquieries into the situation? The whole business is farcical and should not be allowed to continue. It makes me wonder if the board actually know who really does own us. We are heading for obscurity at a rapid rate.

Whatever percentage Lai owns is academic in my view, we almost certainly remain in Chinese ownership and that really pi$$es me off. If Lai does only own 2% then that is still 2% too much. Whatever aspect of life you look at on this planet at the moment, it seems that the wretched Chinese can do what the hell they like because nobody can do **** all about it.

This Podcast was quite a while ago now and since then Chris L and Andrian G have tried to get some clarification with no success. They have even contacted the football authorities in the UK as there are many rules regarding transparency with clubs that need to be considered.
But let’s face it transparency is not a word that is well known in mainland China.
Let hope that things move on for the club as every day we continue in this limbo we are in decline.
Honestly I’m very surprised as I always thought that the Chinese took a long term approach to business and investments. But I guess the issue is that our owner never really wanted us anyway.
