This has got to be the most baffling situation in football. Since last year in the Championship, Sawyers has got progressively worse, game by game. He is now at the stage where he will make at least one mistake a game leading to a goal. That's on top of all the many other mistakes that don't lead to goals. Yet, he is selected for every game. It can't be said that there's nobody there to replace him. Why can't Field be given a chance? We get rid of Krovinovic who could have done a better job. It's baffling. To a degree I can understand why Gallagher was left out, keeping him fresh for the Fulham game but that doesn't mean that Sawyers has to play.
By the way, we have just agreed a deal to sign Diagne from Galatasaray.

Odd isn’t it. I’m anti Sawyers because he’s lazy and shows no spirit nor commitment.
Clearly I’m missing something as both Bilic and Sam select him and TV pundits (last time I was able to watch on TV) had him in contention for MOTM together with a rerun of his contributions?
I’m all for ‘accentuating the positive’ but, hells bells, the negative far far outweighs !
