I'll take that all day long after our recent performances. Chelsea are still a strong side yet we've taken 4 points off them. We won't be under the cosh like that many more times this season so I hope the good defensive display and clean sheet will give the lads the confidence to have a better second half of the season. At least we've got a focal striker with a decent record to target, an area sorely missed from our game since Raul's injury.

Well deserved, hard earned point. Unfortunately against the better teams this is what we will have to expect if we are to claw our way up the table. Going to be hard to watch though!

Not the greatest spectacle, certainly not from the neutral perspective. A defensive masterclass from Boly, Coady and Kilman assisted very much by Semedo. Ait Nouri had a difficult first half but stuck to it well. Nuno identified the problem and the switch of Semedo to the left, helped to stem many of their crosses into the box.

After recent results, a draw and a point was a welcome change. As Plater states 4 points off Chelsea is not a bad return. Our attacking chances were limited, because of the immense amount of possession the home side had. With a little bit of luck we could have completed an incredible smash and grab, if Neto's deft chip had been inches lower.

I think that the sacking of Lampard played into our hands, with the new man picking the wrong side. Social media trolls are already calling for the new managers head. Impatient or what?

It is the time of the season when freak results happen. Burnley are on a charge and Sheffield United really upset the odds at Old Trafford. The bottom four will continue to take points off each other and 35 points could well be enough to keep a side in the League this season. Forty points has been the target that most have aimed for in the past.

A win on Saturday at Crystal Palace (3.00) kick off, is a must.. Let us hope the new man will know some of his team mates by then.

I have read a report from last evening at Stamford Bridge, saying that John Ruddy was one of the most vocal from the touchline. He shouted encouragement, not afraid to harang the referee and generally was a great support to the lads.

I think we were lucky he left Perisic and Mount form the starting eleven, it would have made it an extremely long 90 mins for our defence otherwise.

Like you say a win V Palace is a must, combined with the Chelsea result it would give us some much needed momentum, and confidence.
