    Warnock ........ gets a point .... Cardiff

A draw more for Warnock - than Big Mick.
All what Big Mick has done there is tell the players ....... revert back to what Colin told you to do.
    And surprise surprise - it’s worked !!!
    Which means ......
Throw the ball forward - and throw yourself on the ground when yer can - and if anyone comes near you be as ****ing awkward as possible.
And again and again the Barnsley players did not deal with that approach - they just aren’t PROFESSIONAL ENOUGH to play that awkward game.

For all the Barnsley free kicks into their box it would only need a Barnsley player to go down holding his face and he would have got a penalty.
The ref knew full well what Cardiff were up to and was there to counter that - but Barnsley just did not provide anything for him to balance things up - for example by pointing to the penalty spot.
Barnsley just DO NOT KNOW how to play the Referee.

Unfortunate Barnsley players are too genuine and not able to play Warnock in a Warnock style.

It’s no good Big Val shouting at the Ref at the final whistle (as he did) - he should actually be drilling into the players on how to play the Ref before the kick off.
I know this type of football should not be allowed - but unfortunately it does.

    Note.
Their 2nd goal comes from mistakes that were actually made in defence last season.
Mistakes that resulted in goals against us.
    And there were plenty.
Obviously defenders have been told - if in doubt kick the foooker out.
But that tactic does not work against physical teams such as Cardiff - because all it does is give them a position for a set play.
We need a total rethink on that tactic - especially when faced with teams like Cardiff.

BTW - I would guess Woodrow will be out for the next match - he limped off.
