Thread: Favourite Beech / Beach songs

    Favourite Beech / Beach songs

I particularly admire the work of the strings players, who are invisible. In the fade out do you recognise a well known brass riff from another famous song? The brass player is also invisible.

Is it “(Are you going to/Let’s go to) San Francisco”?

Those of us who are regular posters will know that this song has featured on Carlislemad before, not only is there San Francisco at the end but some classical music that they didn't get permission to use and have to pay 50% royalties to when the full length version ^^^^ is played but none when the edited, shortened radio friendly version is played

Oh I forgot to add that Surfer Bird is the best 'beach' song ever,if it's good enough for Peter Griffith then it's good enough for me 😎

I am not certain that the lyrics actually reach the intellectual height of being termed crass.

Lyrics are very important in a song but sometimes, maybe 11pm on a Saturday night for instance it's all about having a good time

The bird is the word 😎

Of course the only problem with having a good time on Saturday night is getting up Sunday morning,Kris Kristoffersons Sunday Morning Coming Down sums it perfectly
