    Marshall Munetsi

Sorry for posting again but apparently this lad is on our list too...

Know nothing of him but he looks like he’s a defensive midfielder / Centre back so covers a couple of bases should we need him dependant of possible further injuries or if Bielik’s injury is as bad as feared?

Sounds like someone I'd find in a Northern Soul rack at a record fair but I'll check him out

24 year old Zimbabwean international who plays for Reims at the moment.
Played in the US for the last couple of seasons so that may be where Rooney became aware of him.
Described as a bit like Yaya Toure...if only! Fits the jigsaw space we need to fill.

Apparently WBA and the Blades have both looked at him too.

Zimbabwe international, for what that's worth. Some clubs seem to unearth real quality from Africa (via France in this case) but somehow never us. Lets hope he's not Efe Ambrose, Abdoul Kamara or Blessing Kaku mark 2

Oumar Niasse...Senegalese ex Everton striker and George Edmundson (another alleged Covid rule breaker) from Rangers also linked apparently.

If they’re out of contract do they still have to be signed by tomorrow night?

Not if they're a free agent at the end of the transfer window. If a player has his contract terminated after tomorrow, he wouldn't be able to play for anyone else until next season.

Only I think Niasse and Mendez-Laing are both currently out of contract.

DT have caught on to Edmundson but apparently he’s not long had a hernia operation.
