This was yesterday evening at a different park in Nottingham. Truly awe inspiring stupidity.

I’m not condoning nor defending this as it is idiotic at best but all I would say is that this also reflects human nature. We all have a need to get out and explore. In many ways this is a symptom of being locked up but also highlights why it’s incredibly important to not have lockdown go too long - if it does then the risk of lockdown breaches increase but also the risk that as soon as things ‘open up’ the rebound effect of people feeling the need to suddenly get to go out and about after months and months increases more than it would have done if opened up earlier. I still think Apr 26th is far too long and this month is going to be extremely difficult watching the rest of the UK crack on while we’re still locked up. People are going to crazy at the end of this month up here by then.

Yes it did. If you have proof otherwise you should be reporting the businesses.

No it didn't. If you want proof, take a drive along Queen St in Broughty Ferry next week. If businesses want to flaunt rules and customers want to take risks then that's their choice. I have better things to do than clipe on rulebreakers.

I know the target was everyone over 50, and all with underlying health issues were to be offered a vaccine by the middle of April, but it looks to me that over 95% of those over 50 will be vaccinated by the end of next week. I dont see that we are meeting the 400k vaccines a week though, but is that deliberate to safeguard supplies for second doses, which seem to be increasing while first doses stay around the 26k mark.

Dose 1 vaccination progress by age group. Dose 2 reported as appropriate.
    Over 80s, 97.8% – 31.1% (29.3)
    75-79, 100%
    70-74, 100%
    65-69, 98.1%
    60-64, 98.4% (98.3)
    55-59, 82.9% (80.6)
    50-54, 59.9% (57.3)
    40-49, 31.4% (31.1)
    30-39, 22.3% (22.1)
    16-29, 14.2% (14.1)

Yeah you would rather tar all businesses with the one brush and make out they are all breaking rules without proof.
