DC's certainly been displaying Milne like levels of fuuckwittery this last week or two anyway.

    Enough to make you think...
Agree with the above, it's the other way round. Take the mask off Cormack and Milne is underneath. The one thing about Covid, it magnifies flaws in any system and at Aberdeen FC this would be the continued influence of Milne. He's probably been offering sage advice to Cormack.

Aye Milne needs to be gone once and for all out the club.

He offered nothing as chairman, so can’t possibly offer anything other than depression and ongoing dismal failure to the board.

I’d genuinely like to see him kicked the fuuck out our club afore DM, such is my dislike of the man.

Given the relative shareholding’s mentioned the other day, it should be easy enough to dump him off the board, and his shareholding isn’t significant enough to cause any issues so c’mon Dave, do the right thing and get him to fuuck min.

Would go a long way to reestablishing yer credibility wi the support if you did - well with me onywye - which, as the AFC fans voice of reason, is all that matters at the end of the day...

Dave Cormack is a good friend of Stewart Milne so he won’t be kicking him out the door. He also knew what wage McInnes was on when he stepped up as chairman after Milne decided he had enough of the spotlight. Unfortunately Cormack will be a poor chairman who will be too loyal to people we can all see that is stopping the club from really progressing. He himself done a deal with Atlanta which in theory made us their diddy team. He let Milne keep a place at the club, he let The Anchor Man continue managing the club despite some of the most woeful football ever seen played by his players.
Cormack is a fraud and now a proven sh!tebag. Don’t expect anything more than just a figurehead with a big mouth but no balls. He has disappointed me because i expected much better than what I am currently seeing.

The man with no balls but nice white teeth has seen St.Johnstone get ahead of a bigger club like ourselves in the trophies stake. Still.....Oh Derek McInnes.
I look forward to seeing the next picture of Cormack as our newly signed full back as he looked a chump as a striker.

The best thing Cormack could do to get some much needed credibility back with the fans is pull the trigger on DM as soon as possible.
This might help him win back a wee bit of popularity after the shambles that was the Q&A non event.

Wait until after the split then once we are isolated in 4th or 5th , whatever it’s to be , then punt him and get a new manager in for the last few games of the season . If the board have any clue at all ( we know they don’t ) they will have already identified his replacement.

The fans are fed up with the current regime , the style of football , the mentality and what should be most worrying for the board is there is no connection anymore between the fans and the team . Yes COVID has had a big part to play in this but how many people are really looking forward to getting back to Pittodrie to watch a DM led side churn out 0-0 draws or eye bleedingly boring 1-0 wins?

Get a new manager in place before the fans are allowed back , get the appointment right and Pittodrie will be packed with fans who’ve been desperate for change and delighted to get out to the fitba again .

Yes, although a lot felt that McInnes should have gone a couple of years ago, at the start of this season I think there was a fairly positive feeling at the beginning of the season - the club did a lot of good work in the community during the initial months of lockdown, and it looked like we actually had a reasonably decent squad at the start of the season, and for a short spell the football was actually pretty good to watch. It turns out that positivity was very temporary as it wasn't long before we turned back into the boring shambles that we have been generally for 2-3 seasons now. Everyone's bored of it, and nobody trusts Derek to fix it. A third season in a row finishing 4th and without a trophy is not good enough, especially when we're also playing boring football, hardly creating chances or scoring goals.

C’mon now we are all positive. I mean, we have scored one goal in eight games. What’s not to like.

    I think that’s a very fair summary.

We did start well. The win at Hibs, the humping of Ross County up there, even the 0-0 away to the jooot when we absolutely battered them - all examples of games where we played very well with free flowing attacking football, creating plenty chances, great to watch.

Watkins had a huge part to play in that. The fact he was only here because of injuries tells a story, but fair play DM bought him in and he has tried to sign him in the past.

Add to that Hedges hitting form totally unexpectedly and the wee hun shytebag also finally playing some fitba for the first time ever, and we were potent going forward and good to watch.

The 3-5-2 worked very well with these players as it allowed the likes of Hayes and Kennedy to play much further forward and further enhance the attacking options. Hayes if folk remember was playing some really good stuff alongside those 3 attacking players that first couple of months.

Then - injuries. Watkins out, Cosgrove and Main in. Totally threw the balance of the team. Wright then got injured too. Hedges now too. It’s all gone tits up since.

The biggest indictment of DM this season is his complete failure to recognise that a team without Watkins and Wright was totally unsuited to the 3-5-2 formation and needed changed.

Not Cosgrove’s fault he’s not Watkins. It’s the managers job to recognise the players and squad he has available and utilise them effectively. DM has totally failed to do this since November and it shows in the results and performances.

It’s a fundamental failure to do his job and manage his squad effectively and properly, and it’s the prime reason why his time is up and he needs to move on.

It’s all went very quiet on the Cormack front. He must be back hiding again after his backing of The Anchor Man.
He could well have been told to keep a lower profile from Stewart Milne but that would be expected from his old boss.
His bosses over in America will be nipping his head about wanting change at Pittodrie. You have got to feel a bit sympathetic for Dave Cormack...it can’t be easy being chairman of a club but having people controlling what you do at the club you supposedly love.

Let’s see if Mr Cormack is prepared to put his money where his great teeth are and really make a statement of intent with this managerial appointment. We’ll wait with baited breath for an announcement that will hopefully inspire us all to actually care again .
