I'm not counting it as a win as there was no crowd. Practice match at most!

Wonderful double century from Root. I refuse to accept that England's rugby players played badly........... they didn't play.

Kudos Scotland. I don't think I've ever seen an England side with less possession in a game. Ditto with the number of penalties given away. Scotlnd did precisely what England normally do. Dominate. Dominate the ball, the line, the scrum, the opposition. Yesterday it was the complete reverse of what usually happens. Lots of work to be done.

Mull of Kintyre, Campbeltown to be precise!
Still a baby when Dad came to work at RR!
Dad was actually born in Wales when his Dad worked there!
Mam English, Great Grandad Irish! So, make of that what you will!

Funnily enough we nearly moved there in 2019, into a house overlooking Macrahanish beach next to the golf club. We’re up and down that peninsular regularly, just bought a camper van to plonk on Glennbar in ‘summer’. Best team (by miles) won yesterday, make the most of it

Machrahanish is magnificent, have walked the golf course which is true Championship standard. No living relatives there any more, went to the graveyard at Campbeltown a few years ago to pay my respects to long gone family.
We usually stay at Tayinloan in a caravan right next to the beach and walk in the woods behind the beach. Dogs love it!
Take a trip right around Kintyre, can do it in a day and it's well worthwhile.
Unfortunately, I think it's a bit too much travelling now for me to go up there. Last time we went, we left at 5.30am and got there about 3.30! We always have a couple of stops on the way with a few sarnies on the banks of Loch Lomond. Happy memories.

So basically you can be happy with anyone other than the French winning it...which it looks like they will do.

    Correct!
I support all the home nations (and the Irish Republic) in footie for the Euros and the World Cup even England so I was dead happy in '66 but I have a natural affinity for Scotland at rugby (both formats) because it's a more tribal competition.

I'll suggest Tayinloan, we've been up in a series of 'press on' type vehicles but next time will be sauntering up in a camper van
