Goodwin’s stock is high just now , possibly Jack Ross for zero compensation is better value but Cormack really can’t afford to make a mess of this appointment.

Goodwin has a release clause in his contract and is number one choice and will be pursued apparently. While for me a better option than Ross, Lennon, Adams etc to me it still reeks of a lack of ambition. Why not take a bit of time and sound out guys like Ole Gunnar Solksjaer or Kjetil Knutsen etc. They can only say no.
