    BBC Radio Cumbria

How many of BBC Radio Cumbria's presenters are under 50 years of age?

The schools and universities are churning out a vast number of people who have the necessary technical knowledge and
    healthy enquiring mindset.

How many 20 year old 'Kenny Everetts' are there at BBCRC? The current feeble, smug bunch of veteran presenters are just going through the motions. Indeed they feel no need to do any more and they are not provided with new ideas by the other staff.

They could do with being put into the commercial radio environment with it's "shape up or go away" attitude.

Even the few presenters who are under the age of 50 soon get into the same level of lack of performance and lack of initiative as their veteran colleagues. The station desperately needs the sort of talent, from management level to presenter level, that regards this as totally not good enough and to actually take some new initiatives.
