    Sir Shanks

Still a fantastic player - never not been for united

He may not have been in his best form but can see that he gives everything for the cause.

What is the situation with his contract. This is one player that we could do with having on a long contract

Bit worried that when he is not doing so well we ended up having to let him go or he gets to stage he goes on pre contract etc.

Hope the club are keeping an eye on this 👀

I think he'll see out his contract. I don't think many clubs will be chasing him this summer unless say, Hibs lose Nisbet or Hearts strengthen when they come up, but I've a feeling he's in no rush to move, certainly not down south. New house, new born, I imagine life is quite settled for him right now. Would hope the club come up with some kind of 'security extension' where we won't stand in his way should another team come in for him providing he signs an extension. If not then we're on the way to losing a guy who was valued at £3M this time last year, for nothing.

According to the wee snippets i have picked up from the Funsters he's washed up,worth nothing and is eclipsed by the Moose in the goals to game stats.
Sorry i'm not on the same page as you LS but when it comes to footballing ability and finances i always read and believe Scottish football's equivalent to Erskine May The Derry Bible sponsored by DR Noodles.

He’s now got 5 and it’s February, quality effort, missed 2 one on ones with keeper , the moose definitely had a better record in the top league
, said it before you have a poor mans Billy Pirie

I genuinely couldnt tell you what any of your players has scored and how many 1 on 1's they've missed.

You cannot be serious and compare shankland to the moose ffs

As Peter never got back to me i had to go and find out about Billy Pirie myself. In his only season for Dundee in the top flight he scored 6 goals. He left for Australia after being told by the Dundee manager Tommy gemmell that he would only be played in home games due to the survival tactics being employed away from home.
Billy was sunning himself down under when the Dees returned to their old stomping ground Scottish Division one.He was also on a lounger in Australia when his former team mates lost a home cup final 0-3 in 1980.
